24 x 48

Oil & recycled engine oil on canvas.

Urasar was my piece following confusions landscape. The same fervour and energy that went into in predecessor was applied here. Thick layers of paint, sculpted over thinly layer stains and drips make up this stormy painting. I named it after a mountain in Armenia. It seemed like a fitting title, as this piece (along with a few others) was completed around April, close to the day we commemorate the Armenian Genocide.
